As a Child Tether:
Clip the swivel snap hook (A) around your child’s belt loop and have the adjustable loop end (C) around an adult’s belt, belt loop, etc. (see attaching to a closed loop or ring) For safety reasons, it is NOT RECOMMENDED to put the adjustable loop end (C) around your child’s wrist because a child often cannot tell you if it is too tight.

Attaching to a Closed Loop or Ring:
When attaching an item that has a closed loop or ring (like a teething ring) or an adult's belt loop (to use as a child tether): 1) Unhook the buckle (D)
2) Feed the adjustable loop end (C) of the tether into the opening
3) Thread the buckle end (D) through center opening of the tether's loop (C)
4) Pull to tighten.
5) Reattach the buckle (D) to the other half of the tether and secure the other end to your anchor (seating device) or child's belt loop using the swivel snap hook (A).

When using as a child tether, it is recommended to attach the tether to the adult's belt loop before securing the child.”
